| With the aim of promoting research collaboration in the fields of NLP, Development of the NLP expert community, collaboration, knowledge and resource sharing are our primary purposes. MMNLP carries out research activities on Machine Translation, Translation Memory, Building MNC Corpus, Optical Character Recognition,........................, etc. | Currently, a major focus of our research project among NLP areas is Machine Translation . Machine Translation Project in Myanmar was begun in January; 2009. This Project is a National Level project. The objective of Machine Translation Project is to apply Computer Applications in Myanmar language and to read Myanmar language to every document written in English |

| There is the usual time. Open discussion is held in NLP Lab's meeting room.Talker declares his/her subject of conversation beforehand. This theme should be the aid of the group's current and future projects. Thursdays, 3.00pm We invite everyone interested in NLP to attend if possible. | The challenges we face are weakness of NLP knowledge and lack of computational linguistics. We solve these problems by studying and evaluating statistical/machine-learning techniques. |
